Ram Air Duct Cleaning

To clean Air Ducts, is it better to use a strong vacuum such as the Ram Air system of a brush system?

Im not sure but I have been told using the brushes can tear up the lines. Please enlighten me as to the pros vs. cons of either system.

If you have flexible ducts, then don’t use brushes. If you have rigid sheet metal ducts, then you are fine.
