Atlanta Carpet Cleaner

Septic/drain field question..?
We noticed a small foul smelling puddle of water downhill from the field yesterday. We live in the Atlanta area and have experienced large amounts of torrential rain lately. We also cleaned our carpets and dumped a LOT of water into the pipes yesterday. Is this something we should be concerned about and call a plumber? The puddle is not there today but there is a slight white tint to the area where the puddle was. We have had regular maintenance on the system but don’t want to take chances.
Also, does anyone have a more specific idea about the cost of replacing a field? I have read anywhere from 4-10k.
Thank you
you have answered your own question here …you have had a lot of rain ..and you are dumping a lot of water your self ..the two worst things you can do …if you want to throw some money away ..call a plumber ..to save money ..treat your system with respect
